Reviews Summary

Cocola is a French-style cafe in Santana Row praised for its visually stunning and delicious pastries, cakes, and macarons. Many enjoy the cozy atmosphere and the unique dessert creations. However, some customers have experienced issues with service, including perceived unfair charges for hot water refills and poor communication regarding pre-ordered cakes.

"The Bamboo (Mango and Passion Fruit Mousse) was my favorite and I would definitely get it again. I enjoyed every part of it. You will not regret choosing this cake.

The Le Sultan (Hazelnut Cake) was good but the lemon cream felt like it didn't belong, and the biscuit and crunch was a bit hard.

The Tiramisu is delicious; it had a good amount of coffee flavor but not a fan of the lady finger.

The Banana Crunchy was good except the banana caramel which tasted more like rotten bananas than fresh bananas. The pecan crunch was a nice touch.

The Vanilla Milkshake Tart tasted like vanilla ice cream on a tart."

"Fun dessert shop to share cakes and coffee. It wasn't too busy, we got two tables to fit 8 of us. We ordered 4 slices of cake and black coffee with sides of cream. The items were plated quickly as well as the coffee. The cakes were tasty, not too sweet. You can taste the fruits in the cakes we choose. Service was nice and efficient. It is our go-to dessert usually after dinner at a nearby restaurant."
