Sit in The Basin, the bar area, order from any of seven great places, and everyone in your party is sure to find something they like, from pizza to hot dogs to seafood to vegan—and more. If you prefer an outdoor party atmosphere, head to Celery City Craft where they have 51—yes, fifty-one—taps, plus more, and on site is Sushi and Seoul, which gives you just what you’d expect, great Japanese and Korean food in downtown Sanford.

Yugiri Ramen Project stands out as a premier destination for ramen enthusiasts in Central Florida, located within the bustling Henry Depot food hall. Known for its visually appealing presentation, each bowl of ramen showcases a vibrant array of ingredients, from rich, flavorful broths to perfectly cooked, chewy noodles. The menu features a diverse selection of ramen types, including the beloved Spicy Miso Ramen and the savory Tonkotsu, appealing to a wide range of palates.

Henry’s Depot is an old train depot that has been converted into a collective food space. I visited Henry’s Depot on a Saturday afternoon, but it didn’t appear fully finished inside, so we didn’t try any food, so I can’t speak to what awaits you as far as a meal is concerned. Dixie Dharma, Grain & Ember, and a few others are in the space along with a large bar called the Basin which was open.

You’ll no doubt work up an appetite after a busy day exploring Sanford. When you’re ready for a bite to eat, you’ll find a host of options at Henry’s Depot, housed in the old train station. This 8,000 ft food hall features seven restaurants and a cocktail bar – perfect for indecisive eaters or groups who can’t agree on one specific spot for lunch.

If you’re not sure what you want, or if you’re traveling to Sanford with kids and everyone wants something different, head over to Henry’s Depot. This awesome food hall is located in what was once a railroad depot. Originally built in the 1800s, it’s undergone extensive renovations and is now home to eight food vendors and one cocktail bar.

And of course coming soon to First Street is Henry’s Depot, the culinary collective that will include fine vittles from Southern-styled Dixie Dharma, as well as handmade ice cream from Greenery Creamery. Sanford is growing, veganism is growing, and I’m here to tell you that you can live as a happy herbivore in the historic city of Sanford!
