Reviews Summary

McConnell's Fine Ice Creams is celebrated for its exceptionally rich and creamy ice cream, featuring a wide array of unique and delicious flavors made with high-quality, local ingredients. Customers rave about the friendly service, especially the willingness to let them sample flavors. While lines can be long, most find the wait is well worth the decadent treat, though some note the portion sizes could be more generous for the price.

"Great, friendly service! They let you try different flavors and don’t make you feel embarrassed by trying g many. 🤣 The ice cream flavors are varied and so tasty. The Whiskey, pecan flavor is fab!!
I love that they use the best ingredients.
You won’t go wrong getting any flavor here. It’s the best ingredients SB."

"McConnell’s ice cream was fantastic and a recommendation that lived up to the hype. We got a scoop of strawberry and a scoop of vanilla ice cream that both were excellent on their own and paired well together. Staff was friendly and there was a large assortment of flavors that all looked great. I would definitely come back here to try more of their offerings."

"Reason for visiting: dessert after dinner at Joe's

Date/time of visit: Thursday night, ~8:00 PM

Parking: I valeted at the hotel, where I was staying; there's not really any street parking (couldn't tell where/how much parking), there are a few structures. But nothing free.

Party size: ~12

Environment/ambience: not too busy; mixed crowd (races and ages). ~5 min walk from Joe's and Hotel Santana Barbara. A little chilly inside but very clean, even with all the kids running around.

Service: good; ~5 min wait in line and they offer samples.

Food: ice cream was pretty good.. ended up strawberry and cookies. They offer ice cream sandwiches too

Cost:

Would I go back (yes/no):"
