On our way out of Santa Fe, we stopped at The Ranch House for a quick bite. The brisket had so much flavor! The staff was attentive and provided excellent service throughout the evening. Although it was a quick meal I enjoyed my time there. 🥰 If you are looking for a hearty meal right off the freeway in Santa Fe this is your spot! #f#fypf#foodien#nmfoodies#santafen#newmexico

Reviews Summary

The Ranch House is praised for its excellent smoked meats, friendly service, and generous portions, making it a great spot for families and BBQ lovers. While the ambiance is warm and welcoming, some diners have noted minor issues with food preparation, such as greasy potatoes or a lack of smoke flavor in certain dishes. Overall, it's a recommended dining experience in Santa Fe.

"Review: The Ranch House
I had the pleasure of dining with my family at The Ranch House, and it was a wonderful discovery. The decor is warm and thoughtfully designed, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at ease right away.

Service was quick and efficient, which is always appreciated. The food was excellent — full of flavor — and the value for money was truly impressive.

A special thank you to our server — a radiant young woman with colorful hair, whose kindness and energy added a lovely personal touch to our meal.

My only regret is not being able to return any time soon. If I ever get the chance, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

A place I wholeheartedly recommend!"

"Had a number of options available for dinner and chose Ranch House. And, glad we did. Didn't have a reservation but took only five minutes to seat us. My friend had what he called a great half rack of BBQ ribs with a very large salad. I chose their 8 ounce sirloin steak and shrimp combo that came with a baked potato. Everything was prepared to perfection and tasted great. Service excellent and even had room for a piece of delicious cheesecake and coffee. Price was under $80 for all this food which was a nice surprise. Parking was a little tight as we had to drive around once to find someone leaving and take their spot but that was the only negative. If you're in Santa Fe would recommend stopping by. You won't be disappointed."

"Normally I have never done a review while still in the restaurant but today I'm doing so. My wife and I are here at The Ranch House in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In a word... Exceptional!!! The service provided by our server Kai... Awesome. We enjoyed the back and forth with Kai as we did the delicious food. We are definitely coming back. The smoked chicken wings with the mango sauce was juicy and cooked correctly. The pics don't lie, they taste as good as they look! Did the half rack ribs in the red honey glaze bbq sauce, yummy all the way. Wife did the artichoke dip and the veggie burger, she's loving it. Run, don't walk to The Ranch House. When you get there, ask for Kai because he's the man! He'll take good care of you. Compliment to the chef! 5🌟 experience all the way around."

Its brick and mortar might feel unassuming if you’re just driving by on Cerrillos Road, but plenty of people have sought out The Ranch House for that very reason. BBQ, in our modern world, can easily fall into the realm of pretentiousness—yet not so here. Owned and operated by Josh Baum and Ann Gordon, The Ranch House cultivates a true taste of the American West with Colorado-sourced beef smoked with Texas oak and rubbed with a New Mexico red chile honey glaze.
