What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Fia Restaurant is praised for its enchanting ambiance, particularly its hidden courtyard, and delicious, creative dishes like truffle pasta and innovative brunch options. While many commend the attentive service and overall dining experience, some diners have noted slow food delivery and occasional issues with service consistency or menu clarity, especially during special events.
"I went to Fia at my hotel’s suggestion and it did not disappoint! I tried several dishes (and brought some home!) and all were creative and delicious! My server (and the hostess) was amazing and attentive. The atmosphere is gorgeous with the trees and lights. Very happy I chose this as one of the few places to dine during my short trip to LA!"

"This is the perfect place for weekend brunch in Santa Monica!
It has a small alleyway type entrance out front, but once going through...you emerge into a GORGEOUS courtyard space where most of the seating is located.
It was such a relaxing and tranquil vibe for a lovely Saturday brunch!!
Another thing about these brunch spots that offer the bottomless drinks - food can often be a hit or miss.
Well, I can assure you that it definitely hits at Fia!!
Both of the food options we selected off of the entree options for the bottomless brunch were so delicious and beautifully presented!
The Shrimp & Grits plate was very generously portioned, had incredible flavor, and a really good heat that wasn't overpowering to the rest of it.
The Breakfast Burger with a Wagyu beef patty was also high quality and a great size!
We both were left stuffed and very pleased!!
I also appreciated the friendly and attentive here - the waiter never kept us waiting for any bottomless drinks or water refills!!
He was always coming by to top us off and asking if we wanted any other drinks like margaritas for the bottomless!
This is much appreciated when often places seem to make it very hard to get refills for these sorts of brunches!
Thank you for the lovely brunch, Fia!
We'll certainly return in the future, and I recommend you go at some point as well!"

Santa MonicaWith an eclectic interior that feels like a countryside B&B and a hidden patio where lights drape from trees among potted plants, Fia is a place you want to keep coming back to. For brunch, executive chef Brendan Collins simplifies things into a three-course, prix fixe affair, where a basket of pastries is presented for the table, and bottomless mimosas or margaritas come with the $67 price tag. The hardest decision will be landing on an entree, with options like a Maine Lobster Croque Madame competing with a Black Truffle Cheesy Scramble and Southern Fried Chicken with biscuits.
32 Best Outdoor Patios for Alfresco Dining in Los Angeles
Why we love it: The hidden patio at Fia is one of Santa Monica’s best date night spots, with string lights, trees overhead and a generally secluded feel that wouldn’t feel out of place in Topanga Canyon or the far, hillier side of Silver Lake. The food here isn’t half bad either, with delicious handmade pastas, wood-fired meat and seafood and excellent starters and happy hour bites. While the menu has changed significantly from the restaurant’s peak popularity, you can still find some seriously tasty spicy beet-cured salmon cones and a solid chicken parm.

Now’s your chance to see it for yourself. While the Coastal Mediterranean menu’s not the most inventive (plenty of burrata, handmade pastas, and a raw bar), Fia makes the kind of crowd-pleasing food that absolutely anyone will enjoy.
