Sausalito's popular beer hall and rotisserie offers ample, open, airy indoor seating at long tables and expanded outdoor deck dining with exceptional views of the bay. It's a relaxing spot to enjoy burgers, sandwiches, soups, and salads along with a selection of Belgian beers, IPAs, lagers, and ciders on tap. With free parking nearby and easy access for cyclists and kayakers, it's easy to see why this is a local favorite.

This airy, industrial-chic eatery on the Sausalito waterfront is just the laidback kind of spot to while away the hours, watching boats glide past or launch from a nearby ramp, as you sip beer and indulge in seasonal deliciousness. It’s not a brunch place per se — the same menu is served all day, and there’s nothing waffle-y about it — but between the water views and the food, you can’t go wrong. Joinery is a special spot and worth a trip to Sausalito in and of itself. A communal-style beer hall and rotisserie that opens right on to the water, it’s difficlut to say if the vibe or the food are better—no wait, they’re a clear tie for first. When dining, do not fail to order the Joinery burger, to which blue cheese and bacon should be added, or the Porchetta sandwich, with split-roasted pork loin, cracklings and drippings.

Joinery was one of the first places we ever ate in Sausalito, since it’s right near our marina. It has a great outdoor dining area right on the dock, it’s separated from the public walkway by a row of happy plants in large pots. Joinery offers German food and great beer; our go-to is the monstrous kielbasa sausage with sauerkraut and a few pints while watching the birds soar by, over Richardson Bay.

Joinery doubles as my go-to lunch delivery while in the studio and my favorite spot to hang with friends after a hike. This cozy, communal space has an awesome beer and wine selection if you’re just looking for a drink with a view of the Sausalito waterfront, and the food is incredible too. A few personal favorites: fattoush salad, fries, falafel sandwich, marinated beets and guac.

Our favorite bayside restaurants for the “we are sitting on a dock of the bay” feeling are Joinery (hello roast chicken in the photo at the top of this post!), Le Garage (hello french bistro vibe!), Bar Bocce (hello pizza!), and Fish (hello any fresh daily special!). All are casual and fun with excellent food and only-in-Sausalito bayside seating.

Joinery is an expansive, but welcoming beer hall with sandwiches, salads and rotisserie food located on Sausalito’s waterfront. It offers a warm, communal atmosphere where guests can enjoy great beer alongside seasonal fare. The venue is open for indoor and outdoor dining (on their waterfront patio), takeout, and delivery.

If great beer, roast chicken, and waterfront views are your preference, Joinery is your place. The former warehouse space is now a beer hall and rotisserie serving roast chicken, burgers, sausages and more. You can choose the outdoor picnic tables along the waterfront or the inside communal tables inside the beer hall.

While we’re on the subject of food and drinks, there are a number of amazing waterfront bars in Sausalito (the Joinery beer hall being a welcomed recent addition). But there aren’t many with their own little beach. Bar Bocce is known for its waterfront bocce courts, fire pits and small sand beach.

Joinery is a hip and modern beer hall that is located right on the waterfront. The beer menu is beyond impressive, and it is famous for its juicy and flavorful rotisserie chicken. The communal tables are super inviting and are perfect for a large group looking to get together.

One of the more casual restaurants in Sausalito to grab a bite to eat, Joinery is also accompanied by beautiful views of the bay. This beer hall has a pub meets cafeteria vibe. Long wooden tables encourage community seating inside or sit outside on the pier.

Located just along the water in Sausalito, Joinery is a casual and low-key beer hall with filling rotisserie dishes. Come here for a fun communal setting that’s a bit more upscale than your average beer pub.
