Visiting Savannah? You have to check out The Coffee Fox! Their Mexican Mocha (a spicy chocolate espresso) is absolutely to die for, and the pumpkin bread is so yummy. My bf wanted to know where his Mexican Mocha was? 🥴 The vibe is everything—cozy, welcoming, and just perfect. I love that it’s so close to home, and if you’re in this area, you really must stop by. It’s a local gem you don’t want to ...

Reviews Summary

The Coffee Fox is lauded for its delicious coffee, including unique signature drinks like the Mexican Mocha, and its tempting array of pastries, especially the kolaches. Diners appreciate the friendly service and the cafe's vibrant, hip atmosphere, making it a popular downtown spot. Some note minor inconsistencies like drinks served in paper cups or pastries being pre-bagged.

"Whenever I'm in Savannah with my sister, this place is always packed. It's right near all the shopping so you can't miss it. I wrote it down as a place to visit the next time we're in the city. This time around it was only a 5 minute walk from our hotel, so we decided to stop in for breakfast and coffee before a walking tour. We popped in around 8:30 am and there were only about two others inside. I recommend you stop by early if you want to avoid the crowds!

If you scan the QR code and complete the survey you can get 15% off of your order. The two baristas were very friendly and served us quickly. I got a cafe con leche and a butter croissant, my sister got a Mexican mocha and a ham and cheese croissant. The pastries and coffee were delicious! We were able to sit at the roomy bar and leisurely enjoy our breakfast on a chilly morning before starting the day. My only "complaint" is that they forgot to ask if we were dining in or not, so they wound up taking our pastries out of the bags and put them on plates instead. I was also surprised when the coffee was served in paper cups, but I'm not sure if that's just the way it's done here.

I'd definitely recommend The Coffee Fox to anyone looking for a good morning pick-me-up!"

Allison

"Comfortable replacing fun and quick service. We got a tea and a coffee and relaxed outside people watching and reading about the historical romantic atmosphere in Savannah. We both had no idea this place was so special!"

Amie Little

"We found coffee fox by accident! We were surprise to find out that it was the location of Tondee’sTavern where the sons of liberty met! I am shocked there isn’t more pride in this historic site! However the pastries here are wonderful. I had a savory croissant that was flaky and wonderful. Our drinks were perfect and masterfully made. Love this place!"

Several years after Foxy Loxy Cafe and Print Gallery opened on Bull Street, owner Jen Jenkins opened up a second one called The Coffee Fox right on the corner of Broughton and Whitaker streets. Coffee is served from the local company PERC so there’s great espresso, as well as cold brews and a wide selection of wine and craft beer, plus signature cocktails. The bakery display is always packed with fresh pastries every morning, from cakes, scones and cookies, to the famous kolaches (think soft yeast rolls stuffed with either egg, sausage, bacon, or fruit and cream cheese).

Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "Loved it! The Mexican mocha was great. They were able to do a decaf iced one which was great for the hot day. Most important it was not too sweet and had a lot of flavor. Hubby got the nitro brew and said it was also good. Overall we loved the service. Both baristas were very knowledgeable about all the different drinks." Also, they let my 3 year old watch and make the coffee and were making him feel right at home. Not to mention they had a breastfeeding friendly sticker on their door.
