Reviews Summary

Le Coin is lauded for its warm hospitality, authentic French-inspired cuisine, and vibrant brunch offerings, particularly its 'World Famous Apple Fritters' and French Onion Soup. While many praise the intimate atmosphere and attentive service, some diners note inconsistencies in food temperature or seasoning on certain dishes, suggesting that while the experience is generally positive, individual dish quality can vary.

"We were in the mood for dinner with a prix fixe menu, and Le Coin turned out to be the perfect choice. From the start, our server made the experience even better—she walked us through each dish while keeping the atmosphere light and enjoyable. The food was outstanding - the trofie pasta dish and lemon tart were my favorites. I also opted for the non-alcoholic pairing, and every drink complemented its course beautifully. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!"

"First time here, we had brunch. The service and atmosphere were excellent (although the music was pretty loud, so keep that in mind). We started with the World Famous Apple Fritters, which were light and tasty. I had the Eggs Benedict with crab, and it was probably 3 stars--the muffin was soft and not toasted at all, there was too much crab (which I THINK was imitation) and overall the dish was not very hot. The potatoes that came with the dish were excellent, although they too were barely warm. My wife had the steak and eggs, which she really enjoyed."

"This was an interesting experience as it was a mothers day brunch for us and we decided we wanted something a little different, Le coin was recommended as a great mothers day brunch spot and so why not!

We were received warmly and guys please please please, be nice to your wait staff, they are trying their very best, especially on these occasions. Our hostess was a little shocked by whatever transpired before we came and still had the biggest small and welcome for us, well done Le Coin staff.

The restaurant itself is quaint on the inside with lots of tables and booths and outdoor tables as well. The food was a little hit and miss and by that I mean, there wasn’t anything there that I had that I would like to have again, it might very well have been our choices so I wouldn’t rule it out entirely, but let’s get to the food and take it from there

Apple Fritters 5/5 these bad boys came out hot and steamy exactly the temp you want your fritters, burn your mouth off yum! I would say they were around 5/6 pieces and my husband swears the apple butter was something out of this world

Chicken and Waffles 3/5 I love me a good chicken and waffles and this promised to be something good, my only issue is when something to the plate is added that is not on the menu. So when my dish came out with a swirl of fruity/berry sauce and I am very averse to sending a dish back, I ended up trying to eat around it which was difficult. Aside from that the chicken was cooked well but lacked anything that made it drool worthy, the waffle itself might have been better served if it was the Belgian Waffle instead of the cornmeal. It was simply a lackluster dish

Crispy Fried Chicken Sandwich 4/5 Kid absolutely loved the sandwich, spice level, cook, size absolutely yum, the only thing needed was a crunchier coating for the chicken

Le Coin Burger 5/5 my daughter ranked this as in her top 3 best burgers and she does like a good burger, cooked exactly as ordered and tasted great

Cassoulet +Lamb 3/5 The flavors in this dish were on point! Two issues those, more care needs to be considered when adding lamb pieces as a larger piece was not edible, and there really needed to be some bread to soak up all those yummy juices. All in all it wasn’t something we’d order again

A cute little establishment with great potential, not anything id be in a rush to visit again"

Best Brunch in Seattle: Good Brunch Spots to Order In or Pick Up Now

Posted up in the former Roux, former Buckaroo Tavern space made famous by 10 Things I Hate About You, this casual French Bistro is offering an extensive brunch menu featuring bread pudding French toast with candied pecans and maple syrup, a pork belly breakfast sandwich, and Le Coin's World Famous Apple Fritters with pear butter. You can make reservations for dine-in here; indoor and outdoor tables (which are heated and covered) are both available.

Seattle's Best Brunch

A bit of the let-the-good-times-roll energy from Fremont Avenue's old Roux restaurant hangs in the space that became a French-inspired brasserie from chef Josh Delgado in 2018. Brunch cocktails make use of every fruit, from OJ in the mimosas to grapefruit juice in a concoction known as War of the Rosés, and here every coffee order translates to a full French press. If the "world famous" apple fritters—mild bites served with apple butter—seem unlikely to reach true global celebrity, a veggie-heavy lamb bacon cassoulet elevates a boozy brunch to something damn near virtuous.
