Dubbed as Seward’s best-kept secret, Exit Glacier Salmon Bake sits in a more rural area which is a stone’s throw away from downtown. It exudes a rustic and welcoming atmosphere housed in a cabin-like building. But the real reason why it’s a favorite among locals is its array of seafood delights, including Alaskan salmon, halibut, and red snapper.

Along with delicious food, Exit Glacier Salmon Bake provides patrons with a rustic dining experience. Housed in a log cabin, the pub is decorated in wood tones and outdoor and fishing gear adorns the walls and ceiling. The cozy atmosphere, along with mountain views from the outdoor patio make it perfect place to capture memories from your trip.

Exit Glacier Salmon Bake is just a few minutes outside of downtown Seward. This is a great spot to head to if you’re planning on visiting Alaska during the summertime, as the restaurant is only open May through September each year. This local food spot is near the Exit Glacier of Kenai Fjords National Park.

Exit Glacier Salmon Bake – This is probably my personal favorite restaurant in the Seward area. As the name suggests, Exit Glacier Salmon Bake is located on the road to Exit Glacier and it specializes in, you guessed it, salmon. They also have amazing desserts!

SewardAlaskaCabins.com was a website that promoted cabin rentals in the area as well as the Exit Glacier Salmon Bake restaurant. If you have been to Seward you may have eaten at this restaurant as they are known for their good food and their seafood.

That said, I wouldn't recommend the Salmon Bake Cabins on the road to Exit Glacier. It was fine for our purposes for the night because we had a rental car and wanted 3 real beds for our family...but I wouldn't choose to stay there again.

This authentic Alaskan restaurant and pub is one of Seward’s best kept secrets. Specializing in fresh Alaskan salmon, red snapper, steaks and burgers. They also serve a great selection of wine and Alaskan microbrews.

A little gem of a place in a rustic yet cozy setting, Exit Glacier Salmon Bake serves fresh local seafood and classic American fare. Make sure to order the salmon dinner. You won’t be disappointed.

They have steak, seafood, pasta, homemade desserts, great wines, 5 Alaskan Microbrews & Root Beer on tap. It is also close to Seward Windsong Lodge. It looks so chill and so cozy.

We ended up at Salmon Bake restaurant and waited for the restaurant to open. The dinner was extremely good. Dustin made friends with a table of fishermen from Arizona.

Fish for salmon and Dolly Varden in the park’s waters, or target salmon, halibut, rockfish, and ling cod in the waters of Resurrection Bay and beyond.
