Reviews Summary

Ray's Waterfront is praised for its exceptional seafood, stunning views, and cozy atmosphere. Diners often highlight the freshness of the catch and the attentive service, making it a memorable dining experience. However, some patrons find the prices to be on the higher side for the portion sizes.

"We had an incredible dining experience! The food, service, and views were all exceptional. Although we had to wait a bit due to the dinner rush, it was absolutely worth it, as this was one of the best meals we've had in Alaska. We tried the Seafood chowder, Clams, Seafood linguine, and Alaskan Crab Legs, all of which were fantastic. The sourdough bread was a standout too! I highly recommend Rays and I’m already looking forward to our next visit!"

Darneisha Duby

"WOW! We were so pleased with our experience! We had 9:30p reservations & we were not rushed at all! The menu offered a great selection along with the daily specials. We liked the suggested wine pairing. Justin H. was very attentive & professional. The seafood was fresh & cooked perfectly. We enjoyed the chocolate cake to go-don’t skip this!"

Sarah K

"Stopped by for a large family style meal with friends. We tried many items across the menu, as well as the suggested wine pairing — everything was super delicious.

We stopped in around dinner time with no reservation, and as a group of 5 we were seated in one of the best seats in the house immediately. Service was fantastic, and the whole group regarded this meal as one of the best we had in AK.

I will be back given the opportunity!"

The Cookery skews fine dining with a rotating menu while food truck Los Chanchitos is worth several visits for its fish tacos. If fluffy fish and chips and clam chowder is your jam, head to Gold Rush Bistro downtown, or Resurrection Roadhouse at the Windsong Lodge.
