The next best – now only – and still great option is Resurrect Art Coffee House, which has the best of both worlds in one spot. Housed in a century-old Methodist church, Resurrect Art has all the morning essentials: strong, delicious coffee, hearty, handmade pastries, and a cozy setting that leans into Seward’s history while still providing modern-day essentials like free wifi if you need it.

This adorable coffee house has great small bites and warm drinks, plus an adorable inside with small, locally made gifts and artwork. They have different hand baked goods, which can quickly sell out if you don't go early enough, but I love their Jalepeno Bagel Poppers and my husband loves their Cheese Biscuits - they also have great Chocolate Chip Cookies!. If you're looking for a place to chill out, meet up with a friend, or do some work, this is a great spot, they also have a delicious London Fog.

An upscale boutique bed & breakfast surrounded by lush gardens and breathtaking vistas across Resurrection Bay. Relax under sun-kissed skies while listening to nearby birds chirping on your own private deck or patio. Choose between cozy rooms, suites, or lofts adorned with artwork showcasing Alaskan themes while indulging in decadent signature breakfasts made fresh daily using organic products sourced from local farms.

If you’re already there have a leisurely morning with a breakfast burrito from Firebrand BBQ and coffee from Resurrect Art and Coffee House!. If you’re on the full day tour, find dinner and relax for the evening, possibly strolling along the docks in Seward to check out the day’s catch. If you do the half day cruise, then you can also head over to check out Exit Glacier (or you can save it for tomorrow).

Just an 8-minute walk inland from the end of the Seward Waterfront Park Trail at the Alaska SeaLife Center, get a morning pick-me-up at one of the coolest coffee shops I’ve ever encountered: Resurrect Art Coffee House. For breakfast, order a scratch-made pastry. Gluten-free items are available, and a bacon-egg brioche offers a bit more sustenance.

I was disappointed we didn’t make it to Resurrect Art Coffee House so will have to save that for a future trip. We only had one opportunity for lunch in Seward, and tried the burgers at Red’s just behind our hotel. It’s a small place where you place your order, then either eat outside at a picnic table or dine in the refurbished school bus!.

REVIEW #1 – The service and atmosphere make this a must-see destination in Seward. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the coffee is excellent. The pastries are very good but not the best we have ever eaten — but that did not stop us from going there twice during our trip and ordering both savory and sweet options!.

Resurrect Art Coffee House is a combination of coffee shop and local art store inside of a former church. There are tons of local art pieces for sale, from earrings to mugs to shirts and more. The food was also great and they had a good selection of sweet, savory options and gluten free options.

Resurrect Art Coffee House is a quaint cafe and art gallery located in a refurbished church. Snap a few photos and grab a coffee or browse the small shop to find a souvenir to take home. Even if you don’t find that perfect memento, I recommend stopping by for the coffee and bakery alone.

The Resurrect Art Coffee House is the best of the best locally owned and operated coffee shops in Seward and it is located in one of most interesting buildings. However, the most unique looking coffee shop belongs to Espresso Simpatico, it is shaped like an old style tea kettle.

Resurrect Art is a Seward staple—a converted church turned café and gallery that’s loved for its atmosphere and strong coffee. But if you’re looking for something a little quieter or closer to where you’re staying, there are a couple of lesser-known spots worth checking out.

Resurrect Art Coffee House offers the best baked goods in Seward. You’ll find it easily by its bright red door, rainbow steps, and blue accented exterior. This coffee shop was originally a church years before and certain aspects – like the bell tower – give it away.

With the outstandingly beautiful backdrop of the pine-covered mountains, step inside the church-turned-bakery, which also houses an art gallery inside, sufficient indoor seating, and wifi available if you want to step in to get some work done.

Resurrect Art Coffee House is a charming little coffee shop renowned for its delicious biscuits and festive croissant. The coffee here is tasty, and their fresh-baked breakfast foods are delicious as well. You’ll want to try their bagel bombs.

Resurrect Art- arguably one of the most scenic coffee shops in Alaska. This coffee shop is located inside an old church in downtown Seward. They still have remnants of the old church with the pews, altar and stained glass windows.

Resurrect Art Coffee House: This old church turned coffeehouse is filled with funky art, jewelry, and locally made pieces. You’ll have to pay attention when finding it through – the outside still structurally looks like a church!

And when you are in Seward, visit the Resurrect Art Coffee House. Come with enough time and best with a good book. Then order your coffee and something to eat and head up the stairs to enjoy the atmosphere.

Resurrect Art House is one of the best coffee shops in Seward. It is so cute, in an old church. They have coffee, pastries, and as the name says- art for sale.

Admire the many murals, grab coffee at Resurrect Art House, and catch a bite at some of the best restaurants in town, like Flamingo Lounge and the Cookery.
