Reviews Summary

Resurrect Art Coffee House is highly praised for its unique atmosphere within a converted church and its excellent specialty coffee drinks. Visitors love the blend of art gallery and coffee shop, the cozy ambiance, and the delicious baked goods. However, be prepared for potentially long wait times due to its popularity.

"Alaska has such wonderful coffee spots and this is truly a gem! Should be a must visit on a visit to Seward. I tried their Dubai chocolate special latte and it was so good. The vibe of this place is great and if you get a seat in the loft with that big window then nothing like it!"

Aishwarya nandapurkar

"Cozy coffee cafe with many coffee options along with breakfast/snack items. I had the brioche with eggs and bacon as well as chocolate chip sea salt cookies and both were great. Coffee was so good I visited both times while here on vacation and liked the local art displayed."

Lexie Miller

"Absolutely adore this coffee shop that was recommended to us on our trip to Seward. This place has such a cool vibe. Super welcoming to all. Low key. Fantastic coffee and fresh pastries. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Alaska and would love to rent the parsonage on the property."

Here’s another suggestion from the V&V community I have not personally visited; unfortunately, my two recommendations for coffee (13 Ravens) and pastries (Sea Bean Cafe) both closed since I last updated this article!. The next best – now only – and still great option is Resurrect Art Coffee House, which has the best of both worlds in one spot. Housed in a century-old Methodist church, Resurrect Art has all the morning essentials: strong, delicious coffee, hearty, handmade pastries, and a cozy setting that leans into Seward’s history while still providing modern-day essentials like free wifi if you need it.

This adorable coffee house has great small bites and warm drinks, plus an adorable inside with small, locally made gifts and artwork. They have different hand baked goods, which can quickly sell out if you don't go early enough, but I love their Jalepeno Bagel Poppers and my husband loves their Cheese Biscuits - they also have great Chocolate Chip Cookies!. If you're looking for a place to chill out, meet up with a friend, or do some work, this is a great spot, they also have a delicious London Fog.

REVIEW #1 – The service and atmosphere make this a must-see destination in Seward. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the coffee is excellent. The pastries are very good but not the best we have ever eaten — but that did not stop us from going there twice during our trip and ordering both savory and sweet options!.
