"LC Container loves to come here every time we pass through Shreveport. We love the pies as well as the plate lunches and burgers. Everything on their menu is great and we can easily see why it was listed in southern living magazine, and on Oprah‘s places to try. We’re on the way to see Family or for Buisness. We always make a point of stopping here, as it is a staple for Shreveport. Can’t say enough about the staff and the service that we get every time we come in here from breakfast to lunch to dinner this place is amazing"

"Founded in 1944. The omelet is huge and has plenty of flavor, maybe one of the best omelets I've had. Biscuits with gravy were big, not too much suasage flavor in the gravy, which I appreciated. The strawberry icebox pie was absolutely amazing and a must-have. I will probably get this pie every time I come. If you love strawberry shortcake, then you'll love this. Atmosphere was busy and set up like an old diner. (Clearly the spot in town). ONLY ONE draw back, the cook was yelling at the waiters, one of the waiters yelled back that she was with a customer. The cook (continued) on for about 5 minutes talking/yelling to himself (very loudly). A couple of people around me noted he (did this last time). But the food was good enough to go back, and we will. Wish the cook would settle down, definitely messed with the vibe a bit. All in all it was a good experience. Just a bit of drama."

"If you're looking for something fancy, this may not be for you. But if you're looking for a good breakfast and amazing service try them out. It's like an old school diner. We were able to sit ourselves, the service was fast and the coffee was good ! The food came out fast as well. We got our check quickly, and you pay up front. We will definitely be back for breakfast again."
