"Warm & cozy atmosphere...lighted Christmas tree, wood fireplace going. Comfort food all the way. Ordered country fried streak, loaded sweet potato, mashed potatoes, fried okra, corn bread, biscuits & mocha. Food came hot & tasty. Mocha coffee is excellent! Loved the gift shop attached, had a wonderful lunch."

"Talk about a horrible experience at supper tonight. We went to dinner tonight with my parents. We went to Cracker Barrel. The waiter was attentive right when we got there. Quickly came and got our drink order and brought them out. After that it was downhill. We ordered our food. The food took over 30 minutes to arrive at the table. When it did arrive, my dad’s meal was wrong and my entire meal was wrong. The guy gave me hashbrowns as I ordered fried apples and my over easy eggs were solid, everything was cold, the gravy was a solid grey clump. I asked for new eggs as I could literally hold them in the air and the waiter got all snotty with me. I told him the meal was wrong and I would like a new meal made that I ordered. He took the meal back at 6:36pm and brought the exact same meal back at 6:47pm just with new eggs. So my already cold meal sat in the back for another 10 minutes and was brought back to me… still incorrrect mind you. The waiter had an attitude so we asked for the manager on duty and she blamed me for not ordering correctly and said that our story was not what the waiter said. We told her to just take my meal off the bill and that we were done. She then proceeded to go to the back and start laughing with the waiter that we were having issues left. She did not take any of it serious at all. My husband and I just started to go back to Cracker Barrel after not eating there for over 5 years but sadly we are now taking this location off of our places to eat. Restaurants are too expensive to go to just to be given cold and wrong food and to have a horrible experience on top of it."
