What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the authentic Gold Rush atmosphere, entertaining shows, and interactive gold panning experiences. While the salmon bake is a highlight for many, some found the food preparation or show content to be less than ideal. The staff's energy is consistently noted as a positive aspect.
"The team that is working here is exceptional and super friendly. The show was educational, entertaining, funny, and fantastic. The care they took to make sure that all of us found gold flakes was excellent customer service. Pretty waterfall, fun photo ops, gift store was just ok.OK. We didn't have the salmon bake, just blueberry cake and hot chocolate which were yummy."
Sarah Po
"Was a stop in our tour, was something unique, Representing the local community and presenting a recreation of the town of the 1860 tradition and culture. We had a lunch at the end of the presentation. Rice, baked beans, coleslaw and potatoes, the best part, salmon on the grill. Love it."
Rodrigo Martinez
"It’s another stop offered by the cruise tours. The afternoon reminded me of being in The Boy Scouts and camping trips. Had a cookout, eating outdoors in the rain, the smell of an outdoor fireplace, hearing stories and listening to live music is what you’ll get.
There’s a gift shop heated by a wood burning furnace. It didn’t really provide much warmth and it smoked up the store, but demonstrated what life was like during the times of the Klondike Gold Rush."
