Diners appreciate the friendly service and unique outdoor dining experience, despite potential waits. While some find it pricey, most agree the quality and taste are well worth the expense.
"We had an absolutely delicious lunch here! The wait to order was quite long, but everyone was very nice and we ordered a beer to enjoy from the line while we waited. We had the halibut sandwich, smoked salmon dip, and crab leg. Highly recommend!"

"We had the king crab legs, Hump Island oysters, halibut sandwich, and clam chowder bowl. All the food was fantastic. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Woadie’s very expensive, but it is worth it. Customers dine on covered picnic benches. There are space heaters to make it more comfortable."
Jeffrey Peterson
"Where to begin? Asia sent us here from Klondike brewing, and it did not disappoint. The hot sauce here is delicious! The first ingredient is kelp. It's briny, spicy, perfect for adding some spice to a seafood forward dish. We had a pound of crab legs, a poke bowl, and some oysters.
The crab is a must do, so sweet and tender, "falls off the shell" very easy to pick.
The salmon on the poke bowl was also amazing. Very tender super flavorful. Fresh avocado, cucumber and cabbage. The hot sauce on this with it's salt and spice was fantastic.
The oysters were expensive at 3.50 each, but trying one of each was a treat. I've had oysters from all over but the saltiness and flavor concentration was incredible. Very intense, and would try again!
So happy we stopped here, and definitely worth the wait."

Local Seafood | Woadie's South East Seafood
Woadies was recommended by the shuttle driver who transported us from the ship in Skagway to the downtown area. It is in the downtown area off of the main street. We arrived very early and was happy that we did. The line formed quickly. You place your oder at the window and then seat yourself. The area is an enclosed outdoor seating with outdoor heaters. Very, very clean (including the restroom), friendly workers and great customer service. Once your order is ready, they call your name for pickup. We ordered the halibut w chips and the dungeons crab. Both items were fantastic. The seafood was fresh, the crab was a great size and had great flavor. I tried the local root beer, but thought it was a little sweet. This is certainly a great spot if you want to take a break from cruise food.
