Reviews Summary

Peasants Feast is consistently praised for its spectacular and fresh farm-to-table cuisine, with standout dishes like the beet grilled cheese and hot chicken sandwich. Diners also rave about the charming atmosphere and exceptionally friendly service. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, some mention that the restaurant can get busy, and picky eaters might need to review the menu carefully beforehand.

"Awesome boutique restaurant in the heart of Slovang. There are no reservations for this restaurant, but we went during the week for lunch and only waited five minutes for an outside table under the shade of an umbrella. The entire staff was so friendly, kind with good suggestions for what to choose off their menu. We had their Brussels Salad, Beet grilled cheese sandwich, & Solvang hot chicken sandwich. The beat grilled cheese was our favorite, as the crispy cheese all around the sandwich really made it savory and delicious. The beets were just slightly overwhelming in the middle because they left it as a chunk rather than slicing it thin and spread spreading it out throughout the sandwich, but it was still delicious and the beets gave it just a slight sweetness. The chicken sandwich was solid, and recommended as one of the favorite items off the menu."

"We were visiting solvang for a little weekend getaway. My wife's coworkers got us a gift certificate and after seeing the menu we were excited about eating there. We were greeted promptly and after a short wait we were seated. The place is small and quaint and great atmosphere. Our server Maggie was super friendly and took care of us throughout our whole visit. My wife ordered the French dip and cheesy polenta. Which she is still talking about days later. I had the grilled cheese with crunchy potatoes. My grilled cheese was phenomenal, and the onions were the perfect touch, not to mention the Parmesan crisp. Thanks for a great dinner!!"

Darren O'Hooligan

"Delicious food. The area overall it's super nice. Food was fresh and super tasty. We order the spicy chicken sandwich and a cheese burger with salads. Price for two dinners was under fifty. Our server was on point and super friendly. For sure many other options in the area. However, I highly recommend this place."
