I’ve recently started going to Bella Brava on “date night” and I was happily impressed with their wide range of Italian dishes on their menu. If you love pasta and gourmet pizza – then this is the place for you!. I will say that their dishes are a bit on the pricier side and you can drown in the wine prices ($20 a glass!) but this place is a great option when you’re casually dressed and find yourself downtown and hungry.

I love sitting on the patio with my chicken parmesan and a glass of wine. It’s a unique upscale restaurant on Bay View Blvd with views of the water. It’s located across from the St. Pete Pier so you can go for an after-dinner stroll once you fill up on all the carbs.

I would consider Bella Brava as a cult classic among locals. When I first moved here it was always being recommended to me and now that I’m a local I find myself doing the same thing to visitors and new residents. Everybody likes Italian, right?

They were so knowledgeable with the menu that it made the experience stress free. With the whole sesame flour they did recommend staying away from the bread because they were unsure. The food was delicious and service was great!
