The rooftop at Salt & Lime is a great spot for a Steamboat Springs happy hour. If you’re in the mood for tacos and margaritas, Salt & Lime is where you go. You’ll find a lively atmosphere, yummy Mexican food, good drinks, and a rooftop with a view.

My go to place for some tasty tacos and refreshing margaritas is with out a doubt Salt & Lime. Their fun atmosphere and delicious food makes this a great places for any occasion. Don’t miss their daily happy hour from from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

For date night, consider a cocktail and small, flavor-packed bites at Table 79 Foodbar. A block off the main drag, a 1910 laundry room is now Laundry Kitchen and Cocktails, home to more elevated fare from the chef’s changing, creative mind.

This is a casual mexican restaurant and one of the more popular spots. We’ve also gotten a group to-go order which made for an easy dinner at home. They have happy hour daily from 3:30 - 5:30pm.

If you like margaritas and/or tacos, this is your spot (and we’re probably best friends). Very gluten-free friendly. Had the Durango bowl, added shrimp – DELICIOUS.

For more casual dining spots, Back Door Grill at 825 Oak St. is a great local spot for beer, fries and burgers while Salt & Lime is known for tacos and margaritas.

Best restaurant: On a low-key summer evening, my wife and I like Salt & Lime. On special occasions we seem to end up at Laundry.
