The Paramount is a favorite eatery for those who value ample portions, reasonable prices, and a comfortable setting; many visitors find themselves returning again and again for just those reasons. Their menu is chock-full of traditional favorites like mac ‘n cheese, fried chicken sandwiches, and corned beef hash.

This locally owned mountain favorite takes brunch on the mountain to the next level. Past all the shops and restaurants is a brand-new gondola that, despite there being little snow on the mountain, is open for visitors to climb to the tallest peak and enjoy the view. Just like the ride into town from Devner, the journey up the mountain in the comfort of a gondola is worth the investment. Slowly we creep up the rigid mountainside, approaching what I presume is the summit, only to find out it is merely the halfway point.

Depending on how your day unfolds, you may be able to squeeze in a unique après-ski experience by exploring the eclectic brunch menu at The Paramount. After hitting the slopes, indulge in a breakfast sandwich, crab BLT, or chicken and waffles while sipping on a refreshing bellini. The Paramount offers a variety of cocktails, including classic options like bloody marys, mimosas, and palomas.

The Paramount is a great breakfast option and hangout spot for the weary during ski season. The S**t on a Shingle is a breakfast bite unique to them in town, but for our money, there's nothing better than a big bowl of chilaquiles with a fried egg on top. Throw in some mimosas with fresh juice, and we're thinking that the hill will be there tomorrow if we decide to have a few more drinks.

I also loved the hearty salmon bowl--smoked salmon on a huge bed of greens. We found the burrito bowl a little bland, but the setting is cool and the staff is very friendly.
