If you come mid-morning, request the Beet Down Sour with berry shrub and a citrus splash, but convince your brunch buddy to share sips of their Sunshine Lift, a bright amalgamation of peach bitters, lemon, mint, and turmeric (both available with or without booze). Of course, YVK puts as much care into its food as it does its drinks, so expect locally sourced meats, fresh produce, and thoughtful flourishes like flower and microgreen garnishes.

We booked for Thanksgiving late lunch and had the gluten free options of the Truffle & Herb Frites, the Pig & Apple, and the Chicken chasseur. Exceptional quality of food, extensive cocktail and wine options, and all staff were cheery, even though they were working on Thanksgiving. Thank you to our waiter Brian, who made our afternoon even more delightful.

Let me start by saying this spot was one of the cutest and had a really great energy upon entering and throughout the entirety of our meal we just loved the concept and the overall vibe of the place. The restaurant is inside of an old school house and the dining areas are where the living rooms and bedrooms would be. It definitely passed the vibe check.

Super cute restaurant in an old antique house with lots of fun menu options – shrimp and grits, hot chicken, burgers, gnocchi. There’s something for everyone!. Has a bit of an upscale feel without being too stuffy.
