"We came on Sunday 8/22 on our way back to Anchorage from Denali and stopped here because my wife was craving ‘Alaskan King Crab’. Here are our feedback:
🦀Very country, laid back, bar and pub atmosphere. You can sit at the bar area inside or outdoor. There is no dining indoor sitting other than a few tables in the bar areas.
🦀 we ordered the Caribou ‘Northern Lights’ Burger and the 1 lb Alaskan King Crab leg.
🦀 My wife really enjoyed her King Crab. ‘It really hit the spot’ she said. When you have a pregnant🤰🏻wife, that’s when you know you’re in a happy place.
🦀It was my first time trying the Caribou burger and it was better than I expected. Not the best burger I’ve ever had because I just love 💕 my BEEF burger. Nevertheless it was a delicious burger that I would definitely get again.
🦀 Tip: the bathroom is at the entrance before you enter the restaurant. And it was only the host and a teenage boy working because they’re short staffed so expect a wait to be seated and get to be waited on.
🦀Overall, we highly recommend ‘West Rib Pub & Grill’. Big city taste 😋 in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Would definitely return if we ever get a chance to be back in Talkeetna!"
