"Timpano was a fantastic find in the Tampa area! We kicked things off with an excellent and beautifully presented burrata, and my cocktails were top-notch. The highlight was definitely the homemade pappardelle, which had an incredible flavor and a very generous portion. Finishing the meal with their delicious tiramisu was the perfect touch. A special shout-out to our waitress, Marin, who truly made our dining experience even better!"

"I’ve visited Timpano in Hyde Park multiple times—for brunch, happy hour, and dinner—and I keep coming back for the atmosphere and location, which are both fantastic. The interior is stylish yet relaxed, and it’s in a prime Hyde Park spot that makes it easy to recommend for almost any occasion.
Happy hour has easily been the highlight. I’ve tried just about everything on the HH menu (except the oysters), and every single dish was flavorful and well-executed. The prices are very fair for the quality and portions, making it a great value. I especially loved the Lavender 75, which was perfectly balanced. Our bartender steered me away from the Bicicleta—which I appreciated—and suggested the Passion Fruit cocktail instead, which was a great call.
Brunch, on the other hand, fell short. The Benedict was decent, but the lemon ricotta cake had a raw flour taste and texture. I brought it to our server’s attention and they kindly brought out a second one—but unfortunately, it had the same issue.
Dinner was good, though not extraordinary. The table-side cacio e pepe is fun but felt a bit more like a performance than a standout dish flavor-wise.
Overall, Timpano is worth a visit, especially for happy hour or drinks with friends. The experience can vary depending on the meal, but the setting and service make it a solid choice in Hyde Park."

"Came here for the first time to celebrate my birthday. Wanted to go somewhere that wasn't a steakhouse. The atmosphere/ aesthetic was very cute vibe. I started with the meatball appetizer and the ricotta toast app. The meat balls were good, nothing special. The ricotta bread I really enjoyed but the texture of their ricotta was a little off or they put too much on. Overall, I chose here to try the table side cheese bowl. I didn't realize it was more of a pesto pasta, and too be honest it was supposed to be table side and basically the set up was behind my friend not in front of both of us which I thought was crappy :( wasn't impressed with the pasta at all and noodles almost seemed way hard. I did really love the fried donuts as dessert though and our server was very sweet. (sorry I forgot her name :()"
