Our third day in Taos began with a visit to the Manzanita Market, a cozy community café renowned for its commitment to organic produce. Here, we enjoyed a breakfast of a tasty breakfast sandwich and robust coffee, each bite and sip infused with the freshness and quality that only organic ingredients can bring. The ambiance of the market, friendly and inviting, provided a glimpse into the local community life and their dedication to sustainable living.

The Manzanita Market is another one of the best breakfast restaurants in Taos due to its dedication to fresh and local ingredients and friendly atmosphere. Its menu offers many farm-to-table options, such as Huevos Rancheros or Breakfast Burritos, that can satisfy any hearty or light preference for morning meals. For those who care about their health, there are also Acai Bowls or Avocado Toasts available, so you won’t leave hungry!

It’s a great spot for grabbing an Americano on your way up to the Ski Valley or just for wandering around downtown; I did the latter until I was ready for a meal at nearby Manzanita Market. Instagrammable and dog friendly, Manzanita hits a note that few businesses in tourist towns manage to, making locals feel welcome while seducing visitors. And no wonder—it’s a spin-off of the local fine dining fave The Love Apple.

The quaint location is ideal to enjoy a breakfast filled with whole foods, low sugar, and plenty of juices and super grains. Order the daily sandwich on sourdough, homemade biscuits with jam, and a fresh cup of coffee to start your day right.

Located in the heart of downtown, Manzanita Market is an all-organic community-centric cafe, creamery, and marketplace. Everything in their marketplace is sourced from Taos locals, and much of their nutrient-dense ingredients are also sourced locally. Their menu is mostly gluten-free, with a focus on whole foods, including local, organic, slow homestyle cooking.

Manzanita Market is the sister restaurant to local culinary hit The Love Apple, and is located on the East side of the plaza right behind World Cup (great coffee – try the Borgia!). They specialize in wholesome dishes made with locally sourced ingredients.The tasty food and convenient location make it a popular spot for locals and in-the-know tourists alike.

Manzanita Market- This is the sister (bfast/lunch spot) restaurant of The Love Apple, so we were very excited to try the food here knowing that the beloved The Love Apple was temporarily closed. It did not disappoint. The setting is charming and has a very cool local vibe, with a whole wall dedicated to made in NM food and wellness products.

Manzanita Market - If you're craving some healthy food, head to Manzanita Market. This is located just across the alley from Chocola, so it's a great opportunity to pair a healthy sandwich with some drinking chocolate. Daniel and I shared the Mediterranean Vegan sandwich and it was truly one of the tastiest sandwiches I've ever had.

WHEN I MAKE MY LATEST sojourn there in last December, holiday excitement is buzzing. It’s cold when a girlfriend and I happily find free parking near downtown. (Tip: Wear good walking shoes.) We stroll across the plaza and hit Manzanita Market, a community café that sources all of its ingredients from organic and biodynamic farms.

I’ve enjoyed their delicious homemade ice cream…small batch, no artificial anything, interesting flavors and non dairy options available.
