What Travellers Say

Reviews Summary

The Gorge Bar and Grill offers a mixed bag of experiences, with many praising its stunning plaza views and creative drinks, while others note inconsistencies in food quality and service. While some guests rave about dishes like the salmon and jalapeño chimichurri or the generous portions, others have encountered issues with overcooked food or slow service, leading to disappointment.

"This place was really awesome. They were really busy when we arrived with a party of 9. At first they said it was going to be about 35 minutes to seat us but they sat us really fast. Service was great and speedy. Food was good. The view was incredible. They say us out on the patio and it overlooked the town beautifully. Being here on a day trip I really enjoyed the opportunity to stare at this town for just a little longer while I ate."

Britany Hoppes

"As a long time customer I will not be returning. I ordered two items for take out, a Hamburger and Shrimp Alfredo. $53 dollars later I returned to work to find a hand full of "Shrimp Alfredo", just enough to satisfy a 10 year old, maybe. $28 dollars is excessive for the amount of food the in the Shrimp Alfredo plate. When I called the manager to understand the situation I was just given a huge story about tariffs. Tariffs have become a huge excuse to price gouge and give the customer less. I usually have decent service when dining in. It's unfortunate we could not come to an agreement so I will no longer support The Gorge Bar and Grill."

James Morgas

"Service was fast and professional. Atmosphere was nice too. Great drink menu also. Food was mid grade freezer to fryer bar food. Was just hoping for a little more “Taos” the Club sandwich was great and so big it could easily be shared"

Best restaurant and best bar? : taos

If your not too late we have the gorge which is a pretty alright place to eat that's in the plaza. But in the morning on your way out, I would 100% recommend Michele's kitchen. IMO That's the best place to eat in town, but they really only do breakfast.
