"I had a very good dinner with my parents at Juniper restaurant. The service was attentive and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu, wine and cocktails, and gave excellent recommendations.
As far as food is concerned, almost all the dishes were expertly cooked and tasted great. Only one item, mushroom fritto, was absolutely under seasoned so we had to ask for salt. Four different cocktails that we tried were very creative and quite tasty.
I wouldn't hesitate visiting this restaurant again."

"After many years of enjoying consistently excellent meals at Juniper in the Vail Valley, our most recent visit fell short of expectations. The restaurant was offering a 50% off entrées special, which understandably drew a large crowd. However, the volume of guests appeared to overwhelm the staff and space.
We had a reservation for 6:15 and arrived just a few minutes late, but there was already confusion regarding our seating. We were eventually placed at a four-top, but the tables were so tightly packed that it made for a very uncomfortable dining experience. Even the patrons seated behind us expressed visible discomfort.
To their credit, the waitstaff did their best to manage the situation and accommodate everyone. As always, the food quality remained excellent—Juniper never disappoints in that regard. That said, the portions seemed noticeably smaller, while prices have continued to climb.
Will we return? Absolutely—Juniper remains a favorite. But next time, we’ll avoid visiting during high-volume specials, as they clearly impact the overall experience."
