Reviews Summary

The Spudder is celebrated for its perfectly cooked steaks and unique oilfield-themed atmosphere, offering a relaxed yet upscale dining experience. While many rave about the hearty tomato soup and friendly service, a few diners have noted issues with steak preparation and the consistency of side dishes like fries. Overall, it's considered a hidden gem with a loyal following for its signature dishes and comfortable ambiance. [^R1, ^R2, ^R3, ^R4, ^R5, ^R6, ^R7, ^R8, ^M1, ^M2, ^M3, ^M4, ^M5, ^M6, ^M7]

"Upscale food with a relaxed environment. The restaurant is oil and gas themed. The staff are always very friendly and the food is top notch. My favorite part is that I don't feel like I have to get dressed up to go eat a lobster tail. People come as they are, wearing overalls and work boots. We arrived early (they open at 5pm) and people started lining up at the door at 4:30. So be prepared to wait if you don't go early."

Nichole Hendricks

"There was a wait for a table (Fruday at 7pm), but once we got seated, service was very good. I can't say enough about the food, though. Their famous tomato soup is so hearty, that it's almost a chili. The steak was cooked perfectly -absolutely melted in my mouth. Veggies were also excellent- green beans and glazed carrots."

Sandra West

"The food was great and the atmosphere was cool but the service was fantastic! I enjoyed the history since I'm from Wichita Falls, Texas and a lot of my family work / worked in the oil field. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We could hear them joking with each other which made the experience even better. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the tomato soup was better than any we have ever had."
