"Heard great things about the place from my mom and friends. I'd never been. Called ahead and made reservations for my mom's birthday, and they called me back the day of to confirm the reservation, which was helpful to me because the number of people that were coming had changed.
It was wonderful. Atmosphere was great, not too bright not too dim, not exceptionally loud, great nostalgic music. The live singer was a delight. If you enjoy big band music, you should come here. Our waitress was sweet, personable and attentive. Food was delicious, and they have a large menu to choose from. Portions were good, and the prices weren't too high. My plate pictured down below was about $19 and I still had leftovers.
Definitely going back again! My mom was so happy, she wants to come back for every one of her future birthdays."

"The food tastes like a college kid trying to cook and the decor is like the kid’s grandma is trying to decorate the restaurant at the same time. This place has a lot of unused potential. Its atmosphere is inviting but it needs better quality dishes and a more organized and attentive staff (we waited for 20 minutes at the front desk when there were empty tables and no one attended to us). Everyone is friendly but this restaurant is below average and not worth a special occasion dinner."

"Visited late on a Monday night about an hour before closing time so the restaurant was almost empty. So I can't comment on atmosphere. Service was great and my pizza was surprisingly great! Crust was fantastic and baked perfectly with a slight char around the edges. Toppings were generous and I was genuinely pleased because the building outside is so generic looking. Small pizza was larger than I expected and I took the untouched half that was leftover to go. Inside is a cozy family owned restaurant and my biggest surprise was that my bottle of Shiner and the frozen glass was the coldest beer I've had in Tyler. In town for a consulting assignment and this is now my place for a weekly Italian fix. I look forward to exploring the rest of the menu. Highly recommend at least for pizza for now. Family friendly. Appears to have a full bar. I glanced at the wine list and it looked like a good mix of affordable house wines and a small list of other wines at a reasonable range in prices. Thanks for a great experience."
