What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Bee and The Biscuit is celebrated for its charming cottage atmosphere and delicious, scratch-made Southern comfort food, especially its legendary cinnamon rolls and popular benedicts. While many rave about the fresh, local ingredients and friendly service, some diners express concern over the mandatory valet parking and automatically added gratuity.
"This place is amazing! It was a little out from where we were staying in Virginia Beach, but it was definitely worth the drive. First, we were greeted with valet parking. The restaurant is an old house converted to an amazing, beautifully designed and decorated establishment (and grounds). The menu items all sounded amazing and proved to be even better on the palate! The food, atmosphere, and service were all fantastic. We will be back!"

"We tried The Bee and The Biscuit for the first time on Mother’s Day. We enjoyed all of the food except the biscuits with gravy.
The waitress was friendly and attentive. The scenery is nice and they only have valet parking.
I do not like that they add an 18% gratuity to each person. It was two of us. There is no notice to tell you beforehand and we were told when the tab was brought to us. Luckily I had a great waitress so the 18% wasn’t bad for her.
Other than that, check them out if you haven’t done so."

"This place is definitely a Gem 💎! Its definitely a beautiful place and great ambiance. The wait is long, because it's a small place inside to eat, but the wait is worth it. The food is fresh and farm to table and type of place. I enjoyed everything I ordered. My waitress Sara was phenomenal with taking our orders and very pleasant. She was making sure we were good and checking on us. Definitely a 10 out of 10!!"
