When it first opened in 2010, we were exhausted just trying to read the almost terrifyingly sprawling menu.

Nearby Kihei Caffe might get all the love when the sun first comes up, but Three’s Bar and Grill is an often overlooked choice for excellent morning grub. Started by three chefs who share an appreciation for fun and fusion, Three’s sits just down the way from Kihei’s iconic Cove Park and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Wasabi Bloody Marys are served alongside passion guava mimosas, and the simple but robust menu supplies both basics like pancakes and eggs and more adventurous stylings (think: a chimichurri breakfast sandwich with smoked Kalua pork, pepper jack, and fresh Kula greens).

We love the Top Shelf Margarita or local draft beer with an order of the Kalua Pork Nachos, Sweet & Spicy Lettuce Wraps, and $2 Oysters. You also can’t go wrong with the Wasabi Bloody Mary and Huevos Rancheros.

You can still enjoy one of Maui’s best Mai Tai’s without breaking the bank (or even coming close!) at this family favorite in South Kihei. 4 – Three’s Food Truck: This great little food truck is an extension of Three’s Bar & Grille and has become quite a hit on Maui since Chefs Cody Christopher, Travis Morrin and Jaron Blosser began “sharing the love” by taking the show on the road with their Three’s Food Truck. Now you can have the their award-winning food all over the island!

Three’s Bar & Grill was founded by three local surfers/friends who dreamt of having a catering business so they could surf whenever they wanted. The catering dream came to fruition and was so successful that the trio was looking for a brick-and-mortar location in mere months. Thus, Three’s Bar and Grill was born in the Kihei Kalama Village.

Try the Three’s Bar and Grill at 1945 S Kihei Road, Suite G. They have two happy hours, and the earlier one from 3 PM to 6 PM is very popular with families and children. Try the later one from 9 PM to 10 PM if you’re more of a night owl. There’s full bar service, a place to sit outside and enjoy the ambiance, and waiter service.

Happy hour ambience and drink specials have never been better than at South Shore Tiki Lounge and VIBE Bar. Make some new friends and “talk story”, or post a picture of your icy piña colada to make your friends back home jealous. Don’t miss Life’s A Beach for karaoke nights or to watch the sunset across from Kalama Beach.

On our way from one hotel to the next, we planned to stop in Kihei for a quick Happy Hour at Three’s. I love that their happy hour isn’t the typical fried food appetizers, and includes a good selection of sushi!. And fun fact – Three’s catered our wedding, so it was fun reliving our special day through the food again.

I have to say, Three's Bar & Grill is a true seafood gem in Kihei Maui!. The menu is filled with mouthwatering options like their succulent seafood tacos and extravagantly fresh poke bowls. Breakfast – Three’s Bar & Grill – Simply put, their Banana Macadamia Nut Pancakes are amazing. You don’t need to get anything else in my opinion, although my husband swears by the Tropical French Toast. They do serve lunch and dinner as well, but I have not has the fortune to try it out yet.

Locate in central Kihei, Three’s Bar and Grill has one of the best happy hours in Kihei. Every Monday through Sunday from 3-6 pm this awesome happy hour takes place. The happy hour menu is fairly large offering items such as coconut shrimp, kalua pork nachos and the crispy pork belly.

Three’s Bar and Grill This restaurant/bar has the best food in the Triangle. It has become VERY popular and the wait list to get a seat can be long. I really love the food here, and I’m sad that their secret is out, so I can rarely get a seat here anymore.

We shared a mushroom with goat cheese appetizer and then both had the jambalaya, which was very tasty. For dessert, we shared a really good ube cheesecake. Service was friendly and attentive, and the vibe was relaxed and casual.

Happy Hour at Three’s Bar & Grill is a great affordable dinner option – located in downtown Kihei. Make reservations ahead of time. We were able to enjoy happy hour prices with the kids and with a reservation.
