"Amazing food fitting of a Michelin starred restaurant. The focaccia and shrimp pasta were absolutely incredible. The radishes and the chocolate cake were underwhelming, but the kitchen was quick to substitute other dishes which were much, much better. I’ll definitely be heading back soon."

"Came here on a Friday night for dinner. You will definitely need to get a reservation. We chose to sit at the bar to have a more adult atmosphere. It was a very nice bar with some very chill decor. We put our full order in and everything came out in waves and with good timing. My favorite dish was the smoked rutabaga ravioli. We shared all the items we ordered. I’d say the food was definitely really good, but I’m not sure if I’d put in in the realm of other Michelin restaurants. It’s definitely on the affordable side so it’s a good one to go to as an intro to Michelin spots. I’ll likely come back when their menu changes."

"We visited this restaurant for our 18th wedding anniversary and chose it based on the Michelin star rating. We wanted a very special night in DC to commemorate our love; a night to remember.

We splurged and purchased the 5 course meal and my husband got the wine flight.

Immediately upon sitting down I was surprised by the choice of music, hip hop? Not sure the station but, for me, I associate elegance with classical music. The seating was not intimate and I commented to my husband that it could use a makeover.

The first course was lovely and simple with Lancaster radishes and carrots with a tahini dressing. Second course and third courses were interesting but sometimes felt a bit of a hodge podge. But the main course of chicken with a very boring brown gravy and tiny morels were lackluster. The Caesar salad was not crisp. The final dessert was a dense cake with cream and compote. I found it to be heavy and yearned for something lighter to close my dining experience.

I don't drink anymore but used to drink wine often and recognized many of my husband's wines in his flight as cheap wines.

The service was impeccable.

We had a lovely evening and it was truly a night to remember! All my best to the lovely staff. I hope this review helps others and serves to provide valuable feedback to management."
