"On Thanksgiving Day, I had the pleasure of dining at 1776 Morristown and it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere enveloped us, with soft lighting and decor that set the perfect backdrop for a festive celebration.
The menu featured a delightful fusion of traditional favorites and the steakhouse's renowned offerings. The star of the meal, however, was the steak cooked to perfection accompanied by some of the best mashed potatoes I ever had. A delightful kick indeed.
Dessert was a highlight in itself. The ice cream sandwiches elevated an already incredible meal. The service throughout the evening was impeccable; our server was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed. I left feeling grateful not just for the holiday, but for the remarkable meal that made it all the more special. It’s a dining experience I would highly recommend."

"Food and drinks were delicious, service was very slow! Came here for a friend’s birthday on a Friday night. We waited over an hour for our entrees and they didn’t bring all the appetizers out together. They brought out the clotheslines bacon and then the rest of the apps about 15 minutes later. The drinks were delicious; I highly recommend getting the drink tree. The food was delicious. We were a group of 8 people and everyone got different food from sushi to lamb to steak and everything was delicious and cooked to perfection."

We had a memorable dinner at 1776—I ordered the veal chop, and it was spectacular, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. My wife’s salmon was beautifully presented, with a fresh, balanced combination of vegetables and potatoes.
Even better, we got to share the evening with our daughter, son and our son’s fiancée, which made the experience even more special. The ambiance was elegant yet welcoming, the service attentive, and the food lived up to the restaurant’s reputation.
