"Best meal we’ve had this trip! Great friendly service, cozy atmosphere. When your waitress brings you a carafe of coffee and a carafe of hot water for tea, that’s a good service right there. You know the food is going to be good when the locals are standing in wait to get a table! Glad we got here early!

"We got out around 0900 looking for a place to eat breakfast, and all of the places we found were packed, with dozens of folks waiting to be seated. It was only by chance that we noticed this restaurant, which didn't show any "breakfast" signs and wasn't crowded. We stopped in and were immediately seated. The interior is old, with that strong country kitchen vibe. My wife got sausage, cheese grits, and a biscuit. I ordered 2 eggs over easy, sausage, grits, and a biscuit. Eggs were done perfectly. We both agreed that the biscuit nice and fluffy, the sausage patties were really good, but our grits were a bit too runny. Oh, and our coffee tasted freshly made."

"First time visiting Maggie Valley from Charlotte. Was looking for a late breakfast place and stumbled upon this restaurant. Had a brief wait since they were busy but the staff was very friendly regardless. Great portions for breakfast for lunch as an option and the price was very reasonable for the whole meal I ordered. Definitely will come back !"
