What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Vagabond Kitchen offers a creative take on New American cuisine with a strong emphasis on local ingredients, earning praise for its unique dishes and friendly service. While many rave about the innovative flavors and enjoyable brunch, some reviews mention inconsistent execution or slow service during busy periods.
"In the heart of downtown Wheeling, we Trip Advisored into the Vagabond Kitchen. The on line menus were incredibly inviting and accurate. The atmosphere was modern and inviting. The food was perfect for a cold winter’s night. My chicken pot pie was divine as were the brownies. This place was worth the effort to find parking and avoid the rough patches on Market Street. We’ll be back!"

"The truffle fries were delicious. I had the BLT and my husband had the hangover burger. They were pretty much your basic all American dishes. We will try something more unique next time.
We also dined in on a Sunday for brunch and the service was not great either."
Kate S
"Had a great time here! We arrived right when they opened and were seated in a nice booth in the window. They had great local alcoholic ciders that my partner and I tried. The gluten free breakfast I had was good."
