It’s a bar, it’s a café, it does bangin’ breakfast and brunch food, (as well as charcuterie if that’s your thing) and they’re open all day, meaning you’ll love it so much at breakfast you’ll no doubt be back for lunch and dinner!. We love the Greek yoghurt parfait (vanilla yoghurt, granola, berries, coconut flakes), stuffed French toast (French toast filled with cream cheese, served with berries, whipped cream and sugar), and crab cakes eggs benedict. They have some great acai bowls, and bakery pastry treats, as well as some great breakfast cocktails and smoothies, including an acai berry smoothie!

I’m a sucker for a place with smoothie bowls, and with four different options on their menu, Tipsy Beans rates high on my list. But don’t worry, you can also choose from tons of traditional breakfast items as well as country classics like deviled eggs, pork rinds, and brisket and hash. Their most creative food item on the menu is their bacon, egg, and cheese waffle sandwich, but you can also find the classic fried chicken and waffles if that’s what you’re craving, and even upgrade to a red velvet waffle for an added wow factor.

With happy hour, sweet and sour brisket tacos, breakfast entrees, and a whole menu dedicated to good coffee, you know you’ve hit the spot with a lovely, polished and spacious cafe that could even get you into the mood if you want to try a cocktail. You can also try the iced coffees with plenty of whipped cream, or for the kids, you could go for an Italian cream soda and a grilled cheese with fries, so this place has many family-friendly options.

When it is time to study, you can escape the library and settle down in the corner of one of the many cozy coffee shops in the area: Aroma’s on Prince George Street is always bustling, Illy Caffe on Duke of Gloucester Street (DOG Street to the locals) offers fantastic pastries, but a trek by car to Tipsy Bean’s gets you away from the excitement of campus and in line for some of the best tasting coffee in town.

If you're looking for something a little trendier that will satisfy your hunger and also give you a massive selection of coffees and smoothies, head to the Tipsy Beans Café. They are open all day (Tuesday–Sunday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm), so you can stop in for breakfast, lunch, or an early dinner. Just like the name suggests, you can add a little something extra to your beverages if you'd like.

If you have a golfing excursion planned at Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf, start your day with brunch at the nearby Tipsy Beans Café. This charming spot serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and craft cocktails. Tipsy Beans Café puts a creative spin on classic American breakfast favorites, like booze-infused and cream-cheese-stuffed French toast and eggs Benedict with crab cakes.

Yelp reviewers rated the Tipsy Beans Cafe the highest out of the 17 breakfast restaurants included in the Flat Hat’s student survey, at an average of 4.4 stars. International House of Pancakes received far more positive reviews from students, who gave IHOP a score of 3.14, compared to Yelp reviewers’ 2.12 stars.
