We were able to try various places to eat downtown and our favorites for coffee and breakfast are Bella Goose Coffee Cafe on the River* , Dell’s Bistro* (for artsy breakfast creations) and **_BJ’s Restaurant.* For lunch, I recommend the High Rock Cafe* for beautiful downtown Wisconsin Dells view or the quirky dining experience, Grateful Shed. For a fancy dining experience, consider Hot Rocks_ which uses lava stones to cook the unique dishes. Of course, there are tons of dessert options at the Wisconsin Dells.

Food trucks meet food hall at this trendy spot that opened near Noah’s Ark in 2019. The food trucks — offering things like tacos, pizza and grilled cheese — are inside, along with a full bar (with many craft beer options on tap) and an eclectic array of decorations, including a Greyhound bus (suspended from the ceiling), VW vans and truck beds that serve as dining spaces. When the weather allows, garage doors open to outdoor space with picnic tables, lawn games, fire pits and live music.

Served in a food truck style, street vendors have options like burgers, tacos, milkshakes, and more.

Grateful Shed is a super cool indoor food truck extravaganza with a vehicle you can eat in, a tie dye making station, games like cornhole and Giant Jenga and, of course, a variety of mouthwatering foods. The jerk chicken with plantains and potato salad with peas was especially tasty. My group enjoyed tacos, pizza and acai bowls.

It is a large warehouse that has several different food trucks selling street tacos, pizza, and burgers. We think the food is pricey and not our favorite but return for the fun atmosphere. There is a full bar decorated with old VHS tapes and the walls are covered in bright colors and murals.

The Truck Yard features a rotating selection of food trucks offering everything from gourmet burgers and cheese curds to wood-fired pizza and artisanal ice cream. The outdoor seating area is decorated with colorful murals and string lights, creating a fun and festive ambiance.

Grateful Shed Truckyard, 1470 Wisconsin Dells Parkway, is one of the newest restaurants in the Dells. The building is set up like an indoor food truck park. The restaurant doesn't take theming lightly, with a mural, car tables and a bus hanging from the ceiling you can eat in.
