"You can't miss this cafe! The coffee and the food are delicious! The crispy rice is outstanding and the portions are just perfect! Definitely a comeback!"

"If there’s one spot you need to eat at in the city - this is it.
No disrespect to Montevideo, but why are you anti seasoning? When I tell you, every spot we ate at had bland food as nothing had salt or pepper or any other spice for that matter.
After 2 days of having disappointing meals, we ended up here hoping to the powers that be that we would finally have good food.
Hallelujah
First off, the service was stupendous. Everything we ordered were recs from the women working who were all super chill and friendly.
I got the omelette which ironically was the best meal I had in the city.
We loved our meal here so much we went inside to buy swag. My only souvenir from Montevideo were the goodies I got from here.
Vamos arriba"

"The café was overall a pleasant experience. I really enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee, which was well-prepared and flavorful. However, the matcha was not up to the mark. My friend tried the brisket sandwich and found it very good. I ordered the Shakshuka, but it turned out to be quite average. On the positive side, the location is excellent—right by the port—making it a convenient and nice spot for tourists to stop by."

But why stick to just the classics when innovative blends are happening all over the city?. So many people flock to De Morondanga tapas bar for ridiculously fresh siri crab, caught off of the coast of Rocha, that it opened a twin location across the street. Buzzy brunch spot Sometimes Sunday serves up succulent pulled pork sandwiches to those suffering from milanesa fatigue.

Founded by Colombians Ana María Quintana and Julián Medina, Sometimes Sunday combines Asian flavors with Southern smoked dishes, making it a standout brunch spot.
The Curious Markets of Montevideo
Sunday markets fill an important communal role in city life. Montevideo’s Sunday markets are no different. Every Sunday afternoon, Dr Tristán Narvaja street and several side streets are closed off to traffic for the Feria de Tristán Narvaja.
