Blue Parrot Mexican Grill in Da Lat is a fun and colourful place that instantly catches your attention – not just from the vibrant decor, but from the lively squawk of the restaurant’s feathered mascot, a bright blue parrot perched proudly by the entrance.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was upbeat and inviting. The waiter was energetic, full of charm, and added to the experience with his friendly service and great sense of humour. The restaurant itself is bursting with colour, quirky signage, and Mexican-themed touches that set the tone for a good time.
The menu was full of well-thought-out Mexican favourites – from crispy tacos and hearty burritos to creamy guacamole and fresh pico de gallo. We tried a range of dishes, and every bite was bursting with spice and flavour. The beef tacos were a standout, and the chips and dips were fresh and satisfying. The home made lemonades were the perfect finishing touch – cold, zesty, and refreshing.
Portion sizes were generous and great value for money, especially given the central location. We only wish we had more time in Da Lat to come back again. A definite must-visit for anyone craving Mexican food with a fun and welcoming vibe.

"Very nice Mexican restaurant! The cheese a bean burrito was very good and so filling! We also had salsa a guacamole with chips, the guacamole was so fresh a full of flavour, the chips were super crunchy but not salty but still moreish. Would definitely recommend to eat her for tea with friends or family & yes they have a real blue parrot which is very vocal 😆 the staff were really nice too!"
