Reviews Summary

Cuc Gach Quan is praised for its authentic, home-style Vietnamese cuisine and the unique, charming atmosphere of its restored colonial villa setting. Diners love the fresh ingredients and the cozy, familial ambiance. However, some reviewers note that portions have become smaller and prices have increased, leading to a feeling of being overpriced for the value.

"Portion is nice.. Manageable size even for couples. If you come with your family or friends, you can order a few more dishes to share. Generally, the food is not spicy and very delicious.
Salad is a great start, for a lighter food, fried tofu is yummy! Love the soup they recommended us. Was a little worried that it's catfish (usually has a muddy taste, but this doesn't have it). I would recommend the stew pork, too. Reminds me of home (bak kuh teh).
Green mango juice is pretty unique too (taste like balong long drink). I enjoyed my lotus tea!
Great service, too. The servers are very attentive. Every now and then, they will check on us."

Alice Yeh

"Great food to be had! It’s has lovely garden setting as well. You get the authentic feel but with high quality refined food. The menu is dominated by a great selection of vegetable dishes on offer. Highly recommend coming and trying out. The soft shell crab was spot on, the mango salad was excellent as well. Shout out to the fried rice which was a great accompaniment to the salad. The prices were pretty affordable as well for the type of place."

Lift_Run_Eat_

"Lovely Vietnamese food with some interesting menu choices! The little fish pond and garden make the place feel homey!
We had stream rice, fried fish, braised pork with egg, and some spring roll to share between 3 people. The drinks come with morning glory stem as a straw, nice idea but a little hard to drink 😂
The lemongrass fried fish tasted really fresh and yummy. The braised pork was a bit salty but go well with rice!"
