What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Rice Field offers an authentic Vietnamese dining experience with a cozy ambiance and a menu inspired by countryside cooking. Many praise the fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors, highlighting dishes like the signature snail and a flavorful fried rice. However, some reviewers found the prices high for the quality and mentioned issues with inconsistent dish preparation and unexpected extra charges.
"This restaurant is super popular for a reason! The food looks absolutely delicious, and if you're looking to explore more local flavors, this is the place to be. They take classic dishes and give them a fun twist, elevating them beyond what you might find at a street vendor. It's not just about the charming decor; the flavors are fantastic too! You'll see why everyone loves it here!"

"Is it the curse of Michelin Selected? I have yet to go to a Michelin Selected restaurant that I even consider above average.
The beef was mostly tough with a couple pieces that were more tender. The flavours were pedestrian overall. Ordered one of their signature Michelin dishes but they were out of inventory... at 12 noon.
I can say the service was very attentive. Bathrooms could have been nicer.
Given that the price for what I consider average dishes is high, I would not recommend this restaurant. I had high hopes but it's sadly a tourist trap at this point."

"Michelin recommended restaurant. Nice cozy and comfortable ambience overall. We tried the recommended stuffed snail dish with lemongrass which was decent. The morning glory with garlic and garlic fried rice was only OK. The bathroom here did not match the nice decor of the rest of the restaurant. Overall, an OK experience."
