"A lovely place to enjoy traditional ZimbabweanAfrican food.

We had a.o. biltong, Mopane worms, chicken feet, goat curry and crocodile tail, accomplished with Zambezi lager, but also with Umqombothi ( South African Sorghum beer).

What's also nice is that they come to your table with a large bowl and an oversized teapot so you can wash your hands before you start enjoying the delicious food.

The very nice service of Princess was the cherry on the top for us.

We enjoyed it that much that we went back again the next day."

"I love trying local food when I travel, so I stopped into Zulu on a whim. My waitress, Princess, was very attentive and kind. I was seated immediately and treated to a live marimba band while I waited. The pan-seared crocodile and peanut rice was fantastic. The cuisine felt very local, but not in the "am I going to be sick later?" sort of way, which is perfect.

I'd recommend coming here to try something new and local, but if you've got family or friends who aren't super adventurous, they have western options as well."

Aden Andrus

"Trying local food is one of the best parts of traveling – and Zulu definitely delivered!

We went there twice and tried different dishes each time. Everything was absolutely delicious: pan-fried crocodile tail, goat curry, slow-cooked chicken, sausage, peanut butter rice, and creamed samp. I’m not a fan of beans, but my son said they were amazing!

The food was spot-on, and the service was also really good. Totally recommend it!"
