"This is an interesting archeological site as well as a deeply spiritual retreat. Maybe because it is off the beaten path- very quiet and contemplative. Architecture is so old- Byzantine period. The tomb of prophet Samuel is lonely and spiritual vibe and striking. The site is on top of a mountain do the views are striking from all directions. Not commercial, no sales or anything. So bring your own food but feels so authentic! Deeply moving experience !"

"Not only for the stunning views.
I only recently became a National Park and so it was my first time.
People drive a lot by this place from Tel Aviv or Giv'at Ze'ev to Jerusalem but few stop there.
Many religious people come here to pray and this makes this place special.

Besides this religious aspect and the archeological findings, the views on Jerusalem and all the surroundings, 360 degrees, is absolutely beautiful and only for this it is well worth your time.
Just look at the pictures, I believe they'll convince you."

Dan M

"Place of Amazing interest, wonderful strategic birds eye views, ancient beauty, history and spirituality.
Birthplace, home, and resting place of point of the greatest prophets that ever lived.
Try to go only during the daytime and time of security and peace in Israel.

You can even get a donkey ride from the residents of the native Arab village that it is situated in."
