Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the stunning natural beauty of Pirates' Cave, particularly the magical turquoise water illuminated by afternoon sun. While some humorously note the absence of actual pirates, the cave's mysterious atmosphere and historical connection are highly appreciated. Access by boat is essential, and the experience is often described as a highlight of the Albanian Riviera.

"The trip to the cave of pirates is very beautiful. The cave has links to the history of the Albanian people.
This is a real pirates cave which looks like and feels like one, best time to visit it is in the afternoon when the sun gets inside and the water is warm enough to swim in.
Its appearance is magnificent.
You can get there only on a boat. It's a beautyful place, so visit it. The water is cold, we tried to climb the wall - dws - but the rock is slippery.

I would highly recommend checking it out if you have the opportunity ."

"Really beautiful cave, however, must warn you I did not see any pirates. Loss one point for false advertising"

"A Hidden Gem on the Albanian Coast – Pirate’s Cave 🏴‍☠️🌊

Visiting the Pirate’s Cave (Shpella e Piratëve) was one of the highlights of my trip to the Albanian Riviera! 🏖️ Located near Jalë and accessible by boat or kayak, this natural sea cave is truly magical. The crystal-clear water, echoing sounds, and mysterious atmosphere make it feel like you’ve stepped into a real pirate story.

The best time to go is early in the morning when the light hits the water just right – it turns a glowing turquoise! ✨ If you’re into photography, bring your camera – the views inside and outside the cave are absolutely stunning. 📸

It’s also a great spot for a quick swim or a quiet moment to just enjoy nature. 🐚💙 There aren’t many tourists, so it still feels untouched and peaceful. Just make sure to bring water shoes if you want to explore the rocks nearby.

Highly recommend this spot for adventure lovers, nature seekers, and anyone looking for a unique experience in Albania. 🇦🇱 Don’t miss it if you’re in the area!"
