"The gate was closed. I saw a couple crawled through a broken fence. I have to say I was a little scared if I should go in or not until I saw the couple coming out the fence. It's a monument with cemeteries. There were some people inside. There must be another entry but I didn't see where as the area is quite large. There is a huge statue. And there were staffs planting flowers while I was there. No toilet. I would suggest respecting the clean maintained area."

But the view over Tirana and the Mountains is astonishing, the big statue is impressive and the Partisan Martyrs Cementery is a thing that makes you think if you see how young many of the Partisans were that fell against the Nazis... Big recommendation of this place. There are locals at different ages here playing chess or backgammon. its a really calm and beautiful place."
