What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Prat Gran Park Encamp is a beautiful spot with a well-maintained pool offering stunning mountain views. While the pool and its surroundings are highly praised, the on-site restaurant receives mixed reviews regarding food quality and service, though the homemade ice cream is a definite highlight. Visitors should be prepared for potential noise from groups and the lack of provided loungers.
"Great Pool in Encamp, right next to the Valira river, surrounded with poplar trees with breathtaking views to the mountains. Very clean with awesome staff. Ok for lap swim, great for kids, or sun bathing on the surrounding grass. There is also a good restaurant."

"We went there for lunch, since we read the reviews about this person (Chelo). There were three guys "attending" the bar. We sat down and after waiting a long time without anyone coming to serve us, my partner went to one of the waiters and asked him if he could take our order. He said yes. After a few minutes, we saw this waiter sit behind us with a plate and cutlery and start eating without paying us the slightest attention. We had to go to the bar and the guy who served the ice cream took our order. Half an hour later, when we still hadn't been served, we saw how the first waiter had already finished eating and started smoking. With a lit cigarette, he went inside the bar and a few minutes later he came back out, still smoking. The three guys only spoke Spanish and had a hard time understanding Catalan.
As for the scores, they would be these:
- BAR: the service was deplorable, the food is nothing out of the ordinary and quite expensive. I wouldn't eat there again.
- ICE CREAM: delicious. The only thing worth having in this bar.
- POOL: we wanted to try it. It looks like a nice place even though there are no umbrellas or sun loungers. And the day we went there, it was monopolized by a large group of people who kept shouting, jumping and throwing themselves into the water in any way without anyone watching over EVERYONE's well-being."
