"The place of the cities beginning! Such rich history and culture. Check out the old Jesuit churches around the plaza and admire the Portuguese baroque architecture"
Billy Bean
"Nice public park in the form of a large plaza, with a equestrian statue of San Martin (a military national hero from the Argentinian independence wars) in the center. I specially recommend visiting the church, and passing by the Tourist Information Center which is located at the building to the right of the Church; they have lots of information and maps there and were very helpful in getting us oriented for the rest of our visit."
