"If you're in the park near Lago Verde/Rio Arrayanes, you'll be able to walk in no time, and it's worth it. The trail is easy to reach; you reach the footbridge and then walk for about half an hour. This trail has illustrated signs of national parks, making it a good place to go with kids.
I didn't spend a beach day there; I didn't think it was the right place for that.
From there, a boat tour leaves for the Forest of Ancient Trees, and from the dock, you can jump into the lake for a swim (well, we did, no one was there, and no signs advising against it), and it's wonderful. A refreshing dip before continuing on your walk."
