"A beautiful place to experience what a true mountain refuge is all about. The trail from Dedo Gordo to Retamal is both beautiful and adventurous."
Nicolas Hryhorowicz
"We arrived today and met Matías, the refuge warden. His service was impeccable, he was super friendly, and we had a lovely chat. He gave us directions to different refuges from there for another time. The place is beautiful. However, from Confluencia, it took us 3 hours of continuous uphill climbing, and the last hour is considerably steeper than the first few. There's a beautiful waterfall on one side before you reach the top, which we only saw on the way back because we were so tired from the climb! We'll be back next year 💕"
Carolina Aguiar
"If you're looking for a mountain hotel, this isn't the place for you. It's a true refuge, one of the few remaining. Ideal for truly disconnecting and enjoying a unique and different experience. Matias, the refuge manager, is incredibly kind and welcoming. 10 out of 10."
