"Nice place to be to visit.. responsible prices for food and also to stay 12,000 pesos December 23… you have to have your own pillow and sleeping bag :) hot shower for 1,000 pesos more 😯 walking from town is around 3-4h with some nice stops"

Pirates Life

"Great place to relax after a long hike. Great food and a lovely shower."

Noam Guttman

"Beautiful refuge, very peaceful. It has a nearby stream and a lovely viewpoint. It's ideal for spending two nights, as the mountain views and vegetation are incredible and worth admiring for longer.

The staff at the refuge are very helpful. My only recommendation is NOT TO GO DURING PEAK SEASON. We went in December and it was perfect: guaranteed tranquility. In January, I'm sure it gets very crowded and it's much harder to sleep or enjoy everything in such peace."
