"Having already visited one of the Missiones in the area, we decided to explore the others nearby. The admission ticket allows you to visit all the missions within a 15-day period.

While this site isn’t as fully reconstructed as San Ignacio Miní, it still features large standing structures and unique elements, such as a better-preserved community garden area, which sets it apart from San Ignacio.

A guide welcomed us at the small museum, providing insightful explanations about the site and the region. They then accompanied us to the main buildings, sharing details about the architecture and the fascinating historical background."

"There was only one other visitor so we had this beautiful spotb mostly to ourselves.
Ricardo the host was super helpful and friendly too!"

"I enjoyed this place and look forward to coming back when I have more time. I have seen many ruins in the Americas but the ruins in Misiones may be unique for presenting the remains of Catholic complexes in a beautiful natural environment. They are like an inverse image of the Mayan Tikal complex in Guatemala. There is a depth, beauty, and mystique here. You can almost sense the priests walking to and fro on the grounds. Also, Ricardo, an employee on the grounds, is a very warm and engaging man who was a pleasure to chat with before and after my tour of the site. So, thanks again to Ricardo and everyone associated with the presentation of the ruins at Santa Ana!"
