Ararat views are a bonus ⛰️

Views of Mount Ararat are not guaranteed, especially in summer. Enjoy the city views regardless!

Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the Cascade Complex's impressive scale, beautiful gardens, and captivating outdoor art. The panoramic city views are a major highlight, offering stunning vistas. While some note the unfinished aspects and the elusive Mount Ararat views, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many recommending a visit for its unique blend of art, architecture, and scenery.

"This is really amazing being a fantastic stairway. It has multiple levels with really interesting terraces and outdoor gardens combined with fountains sculptures and various displays and also we can see the city from each levels. The wonderful views over the city is amazing and when we are coming down a good area to relax and plenty of restaurant's."

Anish Aravindakshan

"It looks impressive from afar and it is the smae when you get near it. Did not had the lick to have clear skies for seeing Ararat (from what we've heard, there's rarely any chance in August for this) but the whole experience was nice. The area is full with caffees and restaurants anyway (in the plaza before climbing) and it is really beautiful there - including the area of the quirky statues 😉. Really nice area to visit and hang out at any point of the day. A visit to the art's centre is recommended as well."

Stelios Antoniou

"This is really amazing being a fantastic stairway, which was originally designed to connect the city downtown to the Monument neighborhood and Victory Park. It has gone through all sorts of construction problems being halted multiple times due to financial situations and earthquakes plus the collapse of the Soviet Union. Today it has 572 outdoor steps ascending 302 meters, with a 15-degree incline. However, it also has multiple levels with really interesting terraces and outdoor gardens combined with fountains sculptures and various displays. There are many interesting exhibitions when travelling through the interior shaft on the escalators and these contain all sorts of artworks. Plus there are wonderful views over the city."
